In the era of phototypesetting, Bodoni (#4 in this list) was Zuzana Licko’s favourite typeface. But when setting texts at smaller font sizes, she often had to avoid it because its contrast was too strong. In 1996, she decided to create a Bodoni interpretation of her own. Filosofia has less contrast, rounded serifs, and a surprising unicase version, a mixture of lower and upper case characters.
