FF Instant Types represent a successful attempt by Just van Rossum to preserve lettering from dying out. He digitised tape from a Dymo embossing machine, lettering stencilled on cardboard, type from a banana box, and two rubber stamp alphabets. They live on in digital form as Dynamoe, Confidential, Flightcase, Karton and Stamp Gothic.
